This issue with " disruption in network connectivity" is one that needs to be addressed asap in order for us to fix because it has rendered my computer system almostĬompletely useless without a stable, reliable internet connection. The necessary training or computer knowledge to be able to fix these issues by ourselves so we turn to you for help, only to be left at the end of a 1 1/2 year long answer chain with no clear answers, just more questions. This "connectivity" problem appears to have happened because of the voluntary and/or involuntary upgrading of Windows 10 and really needs to be thoroughly addressed by Microsoft's Customer Support Team. Why can't anyone from Customer Support help those of us that have taken the time to visit your "answers" section askingįor help in fixing an issue that many other people are also having? This is another "answer" chain where Microsoft has dropped the ball without a response in over three months. I intend to just purchase a new adapter soon, and I'll let you know if that fixes it. I've tried a bunch of things to fix it and none have helped, and searching seems to indicate that it is a hardware issue with the adapter itself. It also lately has been giving me consistent low speeds. Now on heavy bandwith usage it will cut out, and kill all usb devices like the mouse and keyboard and anythingĮlse plugged in such as game controllers or usb headphones. It would occasionally happen in 7 as well although not intrusively. This exact same thing happens to me, on the 7 to 10 upgrade, no fresh install. This network interface has reset 1 time(s) since it was last initialized. There will be a momentary disruption in network connectivity while the hardware resets. The network interface "WNDA3100v2 - RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N USB Adapter" has begun resetting. Module Path: C:\Windows\System32\bcmihvsrv64.dllĪfter this module restarts about 45 seconds later, this is when the original messages start occuring, and I'm guessing when the adapter drops out Source: Microsoft-Windows-WLAN-AutoConfig

I've tried all the drivers listed on Netgear's site, including the most current one which was designed to be Windows 10 compatible, 5.100.148.6 released 3/2/15 (2.2.0.6 standalone). This network interface has reset 47 time(s) since it was last initialized. Reason: The network driver requested that it be reset. The network interface "NETGEAR WNDA3100v2 N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter" has begun resetting. However, I have a 3100v2, but I'm sure the driver sets have been unified to some extent. Those other issues were resolved, but now my adapter dropsĬonnections with the symptoms you've described. Everything was working alright with the Windows 7 -> Windows 10 upgrade, however it broke some other, non related things, so I performed a fresh install.
